Rituals: Healthy Smoothie
My solution for a nutritious treat packed with fiber, protein, healthy fats, and antioxidants.
A smoothie is a great way to get your daily servings of fruits and veggies.
My standard formula is:
- 2 cups of greens
- 1/2-1 cup of frozen fruit
- 1-2 tbsp protein (nut butter, hemp hearts, frozen peas, coconut yogurt)
- 1-2 tbsp healthy fat (avocado, coconut oil)
- 1tsp-1tbsp: nutmeg, ginger, cinnamon, vanilla (w/o alcohol), turmeric, basil, mint, lemon, lime zest)
- 1-1 1/2 c liquid (oat milk, nut milk, coconut water, herbal infusion)
- Great additions: spirulina powder or collagen powder.
